My name is Karl Cadwallader, starting as a windsurfer when I was 10 I have been involved in water sports for over 20 years with RYA and IKO/BKSA recognised qualifications. From the age of 12 I competed in the National One-Design Windsurfing Championships finishing third twice, and finally becoming national youth champion when I was 14.

After training at Rockley Water Sports one of the nation’s top schools I became a fully qualified instructor at 16, however I have been involved teaching windsurfing as an assistant from the age of 12 . Since qualifying I have been all over the world teaching a variety of water sports, including:- windsurfing, yachting, dinghy sailing, kayaking and power boating. I also hold a yacht master qualification and have experience sailing yachts both in the Mediterranean and on Trans-Atlantic crossings.

Paul Lazenbury brings vast teaching experience to Xtremes-Learn2Ride, he has taught and kited some of the more offbeat locations of the world including Oman, Dubai and Tunisia.

Paul was taught to kite by the water sports legend Manu Bertin in France, followed by an extended period with surf Cyprus before becoming an IKO instructor himself.

Paul is also an IKO Powerkite instructor and has worked with Flexifoil kites for many years. Like most kiters of his age Paul started life as a windsurfer then became a BASI snowboard instructor working in France.
