The REME Yacht Club (Kitesurfing Section) has arranged for individuals to learn to kitesurf in Poole harbour with the kitesurfing school Xtremes Learn2Ride.

Poole harbour is one the safest places to learn kitesurfing, with a large expanse of shallow water and good local facilities, you to quickly develop your kitesurfing skills. With luck you could be up and riding in a few days.

Courses are aimed to run to with four students. However, fewer numbers can be catered for. Typically a five day window is selected to complete a three day International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO) course.

Individual costs are variable starting from £100/ day. Standard Learning Credits (SLCs) are applicable as part of the Kitesurfing Developmental Programme.
